The Expansion Team
The ultimate goal of the Expansion Market Lead is to scale our business in Hamburg and in Munich. You will do this from the office in Berlin and with the support of a superstar team of Client Executives, Talent Advocates, Growth team, Marketing, Product, and HR.

We are now looking for a dedicated team lead for the expansion team to help them grow their business and scale the team further up. Later in time you will be taking over one dedicated city as the market lead.

Job Description


  • Define a vision for the future of the Expansion team
  • Report to the Country Manager and Founders in monthly board meetings on (i) progress (ii) challenges (iii) requests for support
  • Become a part of the Circle to offer input on broader business challenges beyond the Expansion team


  • Be accountable for delivering on objectives, and devising strategies that feed into said objectives
  • Drive career progression and succession within the Expansion team
  • Own roles within the team that address recurring challenges specific to the Expansion Team


  • Mentor, coach and lead members of the Expansion team (on-boarding, 1o1s, training, continued professional development, pastoral care)
  • Devise annual, quarterly and monthly objectives for the team
  • Take part in the hiring process to ensure we continue to grow this awesome team
  • Own decisions within the team (events, sponsorship, initiatives)
  • Being a role model by living our values and by sharing your team spirit and engagement

Preferred Experience

  • 3(+) years recruiting experience OR 3(+) years management experience in a tech company
  • First experience in leading a team of Account Management and/or Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Good understanding of German business landscape
  • Strong analytical mind and organisational skills
  • Good German language skills

Recruitment Process

Step 2: An interview with Ivo, Country Manager Germany and with the team in Berlin
Step 3: A reference check with two of your former managers or colleagues
Step 4: A video call with one of the founders and with the Head of People & Culture
